Whether you’re tackling the 24, 42, 63, or 109-mile Chinkapin Hollow Gravel Grinder, our training plans are designed to help you arrive prepared and confident on race day.
- Structured for All Levels: From first-time gravel riders to seasoned endurance athletes, each plan provides the right balance of endurance, power, and skill work.
- Weekly Workouts: Each week includes specific rides to build aerobic capacity, improve climbing strength, and sharpen handling skills on gravel terrain.
- Progressive Build: The training starts with a strong foundation and gradually increases volume and intensity to match your chosen race distance.
- Race-Day Ready: You’ll train with purpose as you learn pacing, fueling, and race tactics from each plan so there are no surprises on event day. Isabella Rice Robles competes in MTB, CX, Gravel, Enduro, DH, and Road racing. With a degree in Integrative Physiology and certification as a personal trainer since 2018, she blends a science-driven, holistic approach with experience as a pro-level racer to help athletes build strength, endurance, and overall performance.

Patty Pittman is the founder of F2E Coaching in Fayetteville, AR, with over 21 years of experience coaching cyclists, runners, and triathletes worldwide. A USA Triathlon Level I coach with certifications also through UESCA (Ultrarunning, Cycling, Running) and NASM (CPT, PES, CNC), she combines science-based training with firsthand experience in Ironman, ultra running, and cycling to help athletes reach peak performance.
